One of the Atlantic Philanthropies Programs, the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) is “dedicated to protecting the world’s aging populations from threats to brain health.”  As an Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health, Dana is working on a second Aliceheimer’s book titled Between Alice and the Eagle.  Told entirely through comics, this book will blend the last four years of Alice’s life with anthropological discourse on death and dying, global flows of labor, and dementia across the globe.
